Kendriya Vidyalaya, R.K. Puram Sec-II is a Senior Secondary co-education school with approx. 2100 students and 85 qualified and experienced staff members. It has the distinction of being one of the forerunners as it is also one of the oldest Kendriya Vidyalayas in Delhi. Ever since its inception in 1964 (shift-1), the Vidyalaya has made tremendous progress in all directions. Being a model school under the Model School Scheme of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the Vidyalaya offers education through the latest techniques of computer and Internet. Other available facilities include Games And Sports.The students of the Vidyalaya get umpteen opportunities to enhance and sharpen their skills with the help of various sports activities organized by the school at Inter-School, Zonal, Regional and National level of KVS Sports Meet.
