SOP/NDMA
Disaster management is a process aimed at reducing
and managing the harmful effects of a disaster. It is an
organized approach involving the cooperation of
government organizations and individuals. Its main
objective is to protect life, property and the
environment during a disaster. In this sequence, a mock
drill of disaster management is conducted with the aim
of reducing the destruction caused by fire safety.
On 9 April 2024, Kendriya Vidyalaya, R.K. Puram, Sector
2, fire safety measures were presented to the students
of the school. In this program, some officers of Delhi
Police have given detailed information to the students
on the topics related to fire safety and what precautions
should be taken to avoid situations of fire and to protect
other people.
By adopting which precautions we can reduce the loss
of life and property in case of fire, this information was
presented in detail to the students through various
activities. Students gained very important information
from this mock exercise which can prove to be very
helpful in their life.
